Carmen Perez, born October 25th, just dropped a new Dance single “OVERLOAD” with Dauman Music/Federal Universal Music Group. It is already causing a buzz debuting in the Top 50 Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart this week at #43 and becoming # 1 in Rickett's Record Pool (NJ Dance Chart). It was also the #1 Billboard Breakout of the Week a few weeks ago and # 6 for two weeks in a row on PerfectBeat.com.

Carmen Perez’s previous Dance single “EMERGENCY” with Dauman Music/Federal Universal Music Group was #10 in UK’s Commercial Pop Charts (MusicWeek), August 2009. “EMERGENCY” also climbed up to # 40 in the TOP 50 Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart for 8 weeks.
“EMERGENCY” was co-written by Carmen herself, J and Sweet, also co-writers of HIT “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” (J. Lo), Ellis Miah (who has written, produced and remixed such artists as Hannah Montana, Seal, Back Street Boys and Jennifer Lopez) and Billboard Charter singer/ song-writer and celebrity vocal coach Kyle Puccia.

Carmen is an ARTIST... She won Best Supporting Actress by the Valley Theatre League Artistic Director Achievement Awards; acted in over 50 films, TV and Web series, plays, commercials; writes all of her music; she paints, is a U.S. Army Veteran and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Government & International Politics.
