g_athens [swaping]'s photostream

I am shooting pictures in Athens Greece and I have been shooting for quite a long time.
I am not a professional photographer, I work on a different field….
I currently use an Nikon D3000.

I love portraits and shooting people but I will not show pictures of friends and family in public…. In fact I will not show my face either….

I believe that photography expresses ones feelings and the way that he/she faces life.


If one lιves in a beautiful world then his/hers pictures express that.

If one lιves in a ugly world and he/she is unhappy then one can see that in his/hers pictures.

I think that I get to “know” someone by just looking on his photostream…. I can guess if he is happy or unhappy, I can see his interests or/and passions....like if I have a window in his soul.....

That’s why, although I have been shooting pictures for a long time, I started to share my pictures recently. I just wasn’t ready to let other people to look in my soul.

I believe in "getting drunk on a picture" ....
