Fouquier says:
"I do not know if John was really the first one to invite me to publish my pictures in his group (The Inspiring Photograph), but I remember him as being the first. I also remember him as being one of the first to systematically give feedback.
And then I learned about his pictures. He really has got a great eye for the world around him and mirrors it back to us in pictures that range from classical B&W street shots over beautiful colour landscapes to sometimes hilarious processed portraits.
John also has got a great sense of humour and on a regular basis his pictures and/or titles/comments make me smile. And he is the master of looks. Take some time to go through his stream and you will discover an incredible collection and diversity of strange/special looks.
I love his work and the fact that he must definitely have stimulated - through his group and comments - hundreds of people to give it their best shot.
John has most recently "celebrated" 75.000 views of his stream, and most rightly so. A great man."17th November, 2010

"John's work is so "real", there is no self indulgence here, just capturing life from it's raw emotions to it's lighter humor. Package in a generous, classy guy. I always look forward to your photo stream because it helps keep the rest of us grounded, you love what you do and you do it so well. -- Adriana (adrisbow)"

" In my opinion, John is a master of street photography. He captures perfect moments, moves of people and their face expressions. Also, he always chooses the perfectly suitable post-processing and that makes his photos even more remarkable.
I visit his photostream on a regular basis and I truly enjoy watching his photos.
Keep up the good work, J! :)"18th November, 2009

~Emmanuela~ says:
"john's lens and light play makes music with unexpected, found objects; wins poker hands with bets on whether the viewer can ascertain the hidden meaning behind his landscape photography; adds silent lyrics to the beautiful emotionalism of exquisite portraiture; and jabs us from laughing absurdity to the most humbling moments of pure, open humanity. mr. frenzel does not gawk, does not "study," does not pretend at capturing the stolen moment: each of his subjects opens, with not just a modicum of joy, to his lens. the viewer cannot help but follow suit.

"Not sure when and where notice his work, but definitely it is within the flickr. Probably the Explore area lead me to see his works from time to time. I find his works are really true, not much additional over on photos edition. That's symbolize how truly he is and passion in photography.
It is my honor to meet such a person in flickr really, always share their works over the internet and yet still able to seeing stunning works of others, especially his. I found he is very well-skills in journalist photography, still other area are brilliant too. Just too much words to describe how i feel about him.
Again, thanks for adding me as pal and i do appreciate."20th June, 2009

"am just wondering why he doesnt have any testimonials yet.. coz he is excellent! he's got great eyes & creativity does not compute if we talk about people shots or still life, landscapes or amazing abstract - he is comfortable with everything.. i see his productivity day by day - he must be obsessed with photography and in love with his camera coz he takes pics of everything on the highest level - his captures are extremly sharp, detailed, well seen, well placed, well lit (even under difficult light conditions) etcetc. could go on but dont want.. have a look at his work - his shots talk for themselves!
also very important to mention that J. is a great contact - he is always in the first few who check the pics and he always have something to say which gives u more confidence.. great to have him here so dude, dont miss him out!"14th November, 2008
