Welcome to my photostream on Flickr. I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer, and I like to share my pictures. Flickr has really added value to my hobby, not only because it is nice that people can view my work, but also because there is much interesting stuff out there from which I am learning a lot.

What I particularly like about digital photography is that it gave me back the control of the whole creative and technological process. In my early days I used to develop B&W myself. Later, the printing quality in consumer photo labs got somehow worse and worse with the advancement of technology, and I was often disappointed with the results. Now, at least, I can blame myself when a picture does not look the way I want!
