As a Artist I am a good Scientist.
I am still learning some of my good stuff is good the challenge is for consistent high quality images.
The equipment helps but is not everything.Technique and a good eye helps.
For me its the final image that counts and not how we got there.
I am not a purest although I understand where they are coming from.I will occasionally take out telegraph poles,wies, and bits of rubbish.
My flowers I don't tend to mess with colours and tones too much(sometimes a little bit of blurring backgrounds and use of vignettes)
My landscapes I do like to dodge and burn to bring and detail and I am guilty sometimes of oversaturizing them..A matter of taste.
My kit Canon eos 5dmkII,50d lenses:-24-105mm Lseries 18-200mm cannon efs(most used) 10-20mm sigma 70-300mm ,50mmsigma(for macro and some flowers
Assorted other equipments,filters,tripods,torch etc
Software..Photoshop CS4 extended..fractalius,topaz suite,On One plugin suite
I am not a purest although i can appreciate their feelings.To me the final image is king not how I got there.
