I've been doing photography as a hobby for a few years now, since about 2007 with just a point and shoot camera. I got my first DSLR, the Sony a200 which I still have now, since May 2008. I liked taking pictures like any person, but getting a DSLR made me more interested, with editing and HDR, working with filters and all the options on a DSLR. My best photos have been from 2009, with a bigger, better collection that in 2008, when I really started to take pictures for art reasons more than just pictures of people, such as landscapes, macro, flowers, sometimes animals. My favourite subject is landscapes and macro, and taking pictures of people is probably the least interesting for me, as I really don't have any pictures of people.
It's finally coming to the end of winter, it's long, boring, and cold, and so photography is not the most important thing at this time. I am looking foward to spring and the warm weather in summer, with all the many extra opportunities, and I hope to get an even better collection of photos this year, before starting Photography A-level in college this September 2010.
