At 66 years of age and partially retired, I'm in the prime of my life, able to finally indulge in activities I've had to place on the back burner during my working years.

I love to write, having published a number of short stories in collaboration with two friends a few years ago. My current passion is photography and learning to use my "semi-retirement" present to myself--my Canon Rebel Xs.

Twenty years ago I escaped from the Orange County area of Southern California to the Sierra Nevada foothills just south of Yosemite National Park. My location provides ample fodder for my photography outings.

Now that I have a bit more time at my disposal, I find myself exploring as much as I can of this wonderful country around me, discovering special spots and magical moments.
