Photography is a way of expressing my feelings and emotions at the time I take the shot. Sometimes my images are bright and happy and sometime they are dismal but always expressing me and who I am.

Gear I have had:

Canon 450d………good start into the digital SLR world
Canon 450d battery grip........... a must have for portraits
Canon 50d………………great upgrade from a xxxd body
Canon 50d battery grip….......... a must have for portraits
Canon 18-55mm IS……....never buy unless comes free
Canon 28-90mm……………............................... useless!!
Sigma 28-70mm 2.8……….......... slow AF and un sharp
Sigma 24-70mm 2.8………............ slow AF inconsistent
Canon 50mm 1.8 ........Quite soft wide open but useable
Canon 50mm 1.4 … Very sharp from f1.8. (a must have)
Sigma 28mm 1.8...sharp from f3.5 onward. Very slow AF
Canon 55-200mm IS……. A good first zoom. Very cheap
Canon 70-200mm L 2.8…. very sharp even at 2.8. heavy
Canon 70-200mm L 4….. great 70-200 lens for portraits
Canon 70-300mm IS4.5-5.6.good for the price. not sharp
Canon 300mm L IS 4. Perfect .100-400mm is same price
Tamron 70-200mm 2.8……. ..... Buy the canon f4 instead
Tamron 17-50mm VC 2.8… very good for portraits, fast AF
Canon 10-22mm 4-5.6……..Very good. Better than Sigma
Sigma 10-20mm 5.4-5.6…............................. Buy the canon
Canon 100mm Macro 2.8..… great for macro nothing else
Canon 17-40mm L 4............ very sharp, better for ff though
Kenko macro extensions 12-20-36mm. very good, worth it

Canon 24-105mm L IS 4….. ...............a perfect all-rounder
Canon 50mm 1.4……........................................ a must have
Filters.............................................… a must have for your kit.
Low pro Flipside 300….......... perfect for long walking trips
Canon speedlite 280ii............ Amazing. Best I have use!!!!
Cheap light, ball headed tripod..... Does the job!
