Hi!

I've been shooting since September 2008 and have discovered quite a passion for photography. My journey into this universe all started with a stolen compact camera in Madrid followed by the purchase of my first DSLR, a 450D. I went crazy snapping after that =)

Flickr seems to have become my second life. I love the warm, supportive community here and they've provided me with lots of inspiration and helped me see beyond my simple world.

Feel free to ask me anything about my photos as I really enjoy helping others and getting them to enjoy photography as much as I do!

Thanks for dropping by and for all the support!

"I've been following Ed's stream for a while now, so I figured it was probably about time to write a short testimonial! I am always impressed with the consistent quality of his shots. The variation in subjects, composition and processing always amazes me. He has an excellent eye for a photo, and I'm glad to have him as a contact. I look forward to more inspired shots as the weeks go by!"

"I think his images rock. All of them. He is a great contact as well. Really talented. I have nothing I do not like about his pictures. Spot on every time. And it just gets better. Not forgetting his processing. Something masculine about his choice of composition and treatment. Great work Ed. Good to have you as a friend in our flickr world."

"Ed is by far one of my favorite photographers on flickr and a true friend. He has an innate ability to extract the beautiful in his captures. I am always in awe of his artistry, this kid has an amazing talent and his shots are getting better with each firing of the shutter. Ed has a wonderful perspective in life and it shines through in his images!

    "Edmund!
'Kay, first of all, I have to point out you have my favourite name of life. I hope that's not sounding creepy on a testimonial, but I've always been like "that's the greatest name ever, I'm totally naming my child that one day" but I didn't know anyone named Edmund until we became flickr buddies! Yay. Okay, onto the good stuff. Let's face it: you're brilliant. You take pictures of places that I've never been, and are really able to show the beauty of the world through your photos. That's really a gift. You're making me want to travel, boy. Anyway, this is getting long, I just want you to know how talented you really are."

"I've seen many photos of Heronbank and Lakeside (residential halls) at Warwick University, but Edmund's photographs would rank highly. His unique perspectives and capture of colours are breath taking. In fact, I used some of his photos (with Edmund's permission of course!) for greeting cards to my Heronbank residents and the feedback about the photos was very positive.
