I use flickr to do virtual roadtrips that I can't do for real.

Most of my own photos are from trips I've taken too. Many are not particularly well photographed, but I like to make my small contribution to the web pool of knowledge about locations. I like to put lots of links in my descriptions, and to connect places to people and events.

I love the tagging paradigm, especially collaborative tagging, which is the best way to organise photos and associated data.

I am a political junkie, British Ameriphile, and addicted to The Open Road.
