I'm an old guy with two grown boys and a delightful, 4 year-old grand-daughter keen on photography in her own right.
I've lived in Oakland for more than 40 years and have been a neighborhood activist for the last ten.
One of my main goals in posting photos on Flickr is to help counter all the negative press directed our way by helping to document Oakland's incredible vitality, its ethnic diversity and the natural beauty that surrounds us.
