Began photographing in 1968 after purchasing a new Nikon F with money saved from part time work while a freshman in high school in NYC and set up a dark room for making BW prints at home.

That year, met Larry Fink and Ben Fernandez at the Public Theater in NYC and participated in classes and eventually my photos were selected for a photo exhibit for young student photographers.

My photos were subsequently published in various publications and resulted in my suspension from high school due to the powerful nature of the images that were non pornographic but simply taken in a school sports rally. The catholic school administration were threatened by their content and possible negative impact to the school.

I maintained contact with Larry Fink for three years, and through his generous devotion of time, guidance and periodic critiques, developed my personal style.

I have never put down my cameras. My photographs currently span 40 years and I have documented my travels worldwide to 37 countries.

Digital photos are being published in the USA and worldwide mostly in web sites under the creative commons license.

My day job has generated income through life and annuity sales for the last 25 years yet I am inspired and compelled to share my vision. I can capture moments with the camera that are a testament of the visual symbols around us and describe the human condition.

I am blessed with a sharp eye and I can capture compelling images with any photographic device.
