I'm a programmer/analyst (retirement in view within a few years, hopefully) who enjoys photography - I enjoy meeting friends and contacts, and learning from all the amazing and talented photographers who are on Flickr.
I especially love nature and flower photography, macro shots and beautiful scenery.
In addition to that I post some shots of vacations, special events, etc. My husband and I like costumed events like Renaissance Faires, steampunk, DIckens Fair, etc.
