Salam,

Preferred to be remember as CD (not the pirate CD or CDR or CDRW), thats the name being used from my school era till now.

Firstly exposed to camera by my uncle somewhere in early 80's if i'm not mistaken but unfortunately his Nikon was stolen and history. Then at SMART (secondary school) i was one of the photographer for the schools magazine. And now is working with one of government department as mainly photographer for events, seminars, courses, product shots, graphic design and etc.
Part time wedding photographer, my first project was with TNB doing safety campaign posters using photos as main subject.
My cousin calls me the MOBILE MUSEUM aka MUZIUM BERGERAK as my hobby using the film era lenses and other gadgets for taking photos.
I'm a person who likes to make new friends, shares my knowledges and experiences.
As my xperience in working environment requires me to train new staffs does helps me out to share my knowledge with friends whose new in photography and at the same time i'm also learning a lot from them too. Adding to the latest is my PhotoBLOG (the link is down below in blue > ShidysFoto)

So I'm a both Nikon and Canon user, from SLR Nikon F65 and Canon EOS 30 (love both of them). And DSLR was previously Nikon D70S & Canon 400D (using both at same time while covering events) and now using Nikon D300.

Used to Canon models from 350D-450D, 10D up to 40D and my favourite 5D (not yet having the chance with 5DMKII)

While Nikon models are the D40, D50, D60, D70, D70S, D80, D90, D200 and the latter D300 (dreaming of owning at least the D700)

But lets not forget those compacts like Olympus C720 UZ (the only digital format i had way back in the early 2001)

And other DSLR makes too like Fuji, Sony, Olympus and etc. You might wander how i get to used to so many models and makes. Its very simple, as i get many friends sharing the same interests (photography of course) and they'll came over to learn, share and doing photography outing together.

Plus the bonus is when involved in Photocamp (FOC, just pay the rent to the hotel/chalet owner), these are the time i'll get the chance to xposed to various models and makes. (they'll came over asking for tips & tricks setting up thier cameras- e.g. setting the kelvin)

So what brand of camera is not very important, its the result (photos taken) matter most.

Why back to SLR(film)?. This is to disciplined myself not to simply take any shots without any purposes.

Lastly, sorry to mention this.........i just LOL when read those never ending debates amongs Canon VS Nikon users. Both are good, just stop wasting times on debates.....go out and shoot more quality photos.
