La città che lui presenta ed è capace di fermare nelle sue immagini, la mia città, è quella tante volte sognata, fantasticata o forse solo appena qualche volta intravvista nella rielaborazione della fantasia. Un cumulo di nuvole, un riflesso nell'acqua una geometria trascurata perchè ritenuta troppo rigida per poter essere apprezzata o anche solo osservata.   "I'm here on a prediction. Which I'm just about to make come true! My records show Kev became one of my flickr friends in January, 2009... we did the usual thing, posting pix and commenting politely, and then one day Kev took a liking to one of my pix and singlehandedly drummed up over 100 comments in a few days. I was damned impressed! And started to pay more attention to my benefactor's photostream. I was immediately thrust into a bifurcated world of superbly seen archi shots, dripping with colour and cast in composition, and a magically emotional world of black & white portraits of his two beautiful -- and photogenic -- children. It was entertaining and instructional. Suddenly I found myself looking at rooftops. But that was just the start. It didn't take long before he organized his first group -- I Leica You Like You Leica Me -- which has grown to be one of the best collections of artsy, non-cliche pix on flickr, and more recently with Flair and Square, another fun group with fantastic photos. Lately Kev has gone full explorer mode into the land of macro, but basically, regardless of what theme or genre attracts his attention, what he sees is unique, full of thought, life, and his wonderfully animated personality. Little wonder his shots have received local recognition in his home town of Taranto, Italy, where he's won three competitions (at last count)!
