Digital collage collection title “El despertar de la conciencia” tells the story of a personal journey to the deepest regions of my mind, searching for something I wasn’t sure I was seeking, working with discernment and observation over the years. Now I can see a bigger picture of reality and of myself.
This project has the intention of awaken the curiosity of the spectator as well as lead them to question themselves and challenge the brain to do associations on popular images and symbols.
In a way, we are what we know, discernment the journey is still on and like Tool says “I know the pieces fit” so I will keep on making collages or as I call them, chekoullages, as a personal way of understanding all the information reality throws at us.
Putting the pieces together is in human nature, connecting dots, and in the end all the puzzles pieces will come together, like the ultimate truth.
All is one and one is all.
