A Celtic Wanderer and Searcher of Light.

On a day when
the weight deadens
on your shoulders,
may the clay dance
to balance you.

Should the ghost of loss get into you,
May a flock of colours,
indigo, red, green
and azure blue
come to awaken in you, a spirit of delight.

May the nourishment of friends be yours,
may the clarity of light be yours,
may the fluency of nature be yours,
may the knowing of serenity be yours.

(With acknowledgement to John O' Donohue)

I seek to discover and capture the generosity of light; hear the 'lingua incognito' of the land and the sea, know their inveigling allurement, and our significance to their generous Architect.

"Denis' photostream is unbelievable. The landscapes he captures are breathtaking and magnificent. The osprey shots are truly amazing. Not only Denis' photos are incredible, he also has a great talent to describe places in such a beautiful detail, I can imagine vividly being there. Thank you, Denis, for sharing your great talent with us."

"I first saw calypsophoto's posted work today and was motivated to share my feelings. The photography he has posted to date (9 Feb 07) is among the three or four most consistently excellent and beautiful bird photography collections I've seen on Flickr. He obviously has the "eye" and the skill as well. His work is inspirational in that it urges the viewer to try to do as well."
