The Victoria Children’s Museum, a registered not for profit organization, was formed in March 1999 due to the need for an educational facility designed uniquely for young children in the Victoria area. The Association was founded by a board of committed community members along with the support of an experienced Advisory Council and a host of volunteers. Operating as a museum without walls, we’ve hosted numerous exhibits and programs throughout the community. Our goal is to have a permanent home soon where we can provide a place for children to stretch their imaginations and to learn through engaging "hands-on" exhibits and programming.

Children’s museums throughout the world have been critically important to the learning development of young minds. They foster the significance of learning in a nurturing family environment. Children will benefit from a museum of their own, where they can learn about the world around them through hands-on experience.
