"എന്റെ മാനസികനില കൂടെകൂടെ മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരുക്കുന്നു. എന്നാലതിലൊരു ശരാശരി വിശുദ്ടിയുണ്ട്. എനിക്ക് കലയില്‍ ഉറച്ച വിശ്വാസമാണ്. വ്യക്തിക്ക് സോയം ചിലതെല്ലാം ചെയ്യാന്നുന്ടെകിലും അവനെ തുറമുഖത്തൊളമെത്തിക്കുന്ന ആത്മ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ സ്രോതസിനിയാണ് അത്. ഒരാള്‍ തന്റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനമണ്ഡലം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത് അയാളെ സംബന്തിചെടത്തോളം വലിയ ഒരനുഗ്രഹമായി ഞാന്‍ കരുതുന്നു. ആ നിലക്ക് ഞാന്‍ എന്നെ ഒരു നിര്ദാഗ്യവാനായി കരുതുന്നില്ല. ആപെക്ഷികമായോ, സാനതറ്ഭികമായോ ചില കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ ഞാന്‍ യാതനകള്‍ സഹിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടാവം. എന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിലേറെ ഇരുണ്ട് ദിനങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുക്കും. എന്നാല്‍ ഹതഭാഗ്യ്ന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ഒരുവനായി എന്നെ ഗണിക്കരുത്. എനിക്കത് ഇഷ്ടമല്ല. അതത്ര ശരിയുമല്ല...
