I think I marginally passed an NCFE Level 1 in Photography, other than that, my expereience and outwright confidence, are my only formal qualifications. This stuff is fun, and that's why I enjoy it and get some decent shots from time to time.

I shoot these days with a Canon 1000D DSLR, and I adore it, after arriving here from my humble beginnings with a circa year 1998, Olympic compact camera with 2MB Smart Media card. I make every effort to visit peoples streams when they fave one of my photos and generally fave back in return to say thanks.

Please ask (unless you are on my contacts list, or we've met) before you take a copy of these photos. Recently I dropped the licensing for new uploads back to (c) from (cc), although I'm open to Creative Commons, there are a few who take liberties too far and take without letting me know. Remember I can track in the stats!

Always keen on music, live music even better, bit of a mish mash of styles but mainly acoustic/folk/anti-folk/singer-song writers and female vocalists with a dash of melodic indie.

I try and attend local flickrmeets and started the black country flickr meet up group.

Me, asleep? I have Narcolepsy, yes it's REAL!
Oh and one last thing, if you see me sleeping ... I really do have Narcolepsy, this has been proven by scientists. Narcolepsy isn't contagious, you won't catch Narcolepsy, it's nothing to worry about, even if you prod me and get no response, I haven't died, I've just hit REM sleep.

Narcoleptics aren't drunk, nor have they had a late night and yes when I sleep in the day, my body (sorry, my brain thinks) it's night time and paralyses my body. It sucks, but what can you do, it is what it is.
