I was born in 1947 in Birkenhead, Cheshire (now Merseyside), England. I now live in Stone, Staffordshire, England.
I retired from work in 2007 so I have plenty of time (wife permitting!) to pursue my main interests of walking, birdwatching, photography and researching my family tree.
I have recently bought a new camera, a Panasonic FZ28, which, hopefully, will enable me to produce some better photographs! I'm slowly getting to grips with its various controls now and I'm very pleased with it.
