I am 62, I have kids and grandkids and a first great grandchild. None of them live near me except my oldest daughter, who lives with me...along with my son-in-law.
I have two small dogs, she has one. I love animals, especially dogs.
I lived for two years in South Africa, after making that decision on a visit to a pen pal. I love it there, but came back because the spouse wanted to. I've been back since to visit and visited Hawaii last year as well.
I have a passion for photography....but it is not to be a pro....I believed if I tried everything I would soon be able to whittle down to what I really loved. It turns out I really love to shoot just about anything that presents itself. Note....I have discovered a love for portraits and nature and I find as much and sometimes more interest in the dead parts of nature.
I love my flickr friends....I try to get to know all of them at least a bit. They are not just contacts to me.
