    Shanti Basauri says:

"What could i say? I think Siam's (Marji) galleries are amazing, beautiful and, if I may say it, necessary.
Not only the domain of color, the use of that light captured in those places she visits. Not only the incredible human models and the eyes that watch us across the pictures. Not only the evidence of quality, fatally stolen by others in a recent episode.

I think that there is another exclusive component in Marji's work: The anthropological interest.
When i see that human map she shows, those portraits, that childhood and those old aged people, i feel the emotion of empathy. I feel more human and closer to that foreign people that i don't personally know.
In every picture i see in these wonderful collections i always contemplate a story behind. And those stories conform our history.
Thanks for sharing with all of us!"

    "How to say about Marji.
Mmmm..., I like to call him the master traveller. His photo are real master piece, he converts simple things into pure art with simply nice documentary. Some very good images that shows with his personal connection to his subject, and a good evolution from his first images to the latest.
    I envy this great man.

Hopefully get to shoot with him someday.
Thanks Marji for inviting me into your world through your wonderful images!"

    Cafarnaom says:

"Les photos de S i a m sont empreintes d'un amour inconditionnel de l'être humain, quel qu'il soit. Et finalement, au travers de ses voyages, l'être humain ne semble pas si mauvais que cela.
De l'Inde aux rues de Paris en colère en passant par Vincennes sous la neige, S i a m sait sublimer les hommes et les situations. Sa galerie est un passage obligé et une ode si poétique à la vie..."

"Marji is a human with a warm heart and a beautiful mind!
Looking through her photographs will show you that she`s "shooting from her heart"!
It seems to me that she already discovered her true vision and emotional path of photographic approach, and follows it faithfully to explore it with the true passion and a pure mind that only a loving person with a warm and honest soul could do."

    streetcorner says:

"Marji's work is a veritable tour de force. Many witnesses of India, many seekers of the country's soul, eventually get complacent when facing so much beauty, so many colors, so many lives and stories. Yet Marji manages, again and again, to bring new visions to the surface. Every shot reinvents itself, and complements the previous one. In the end, it's a beautiful canvas of stories and moments that emerges.

That aside, each shot taken separately is a pleasure. You can tell she understands light. Most beautiful witness of all, this little girl in a yellow dress dancing in a ray of light, somewhere in a street of india. This picture itself says so much about Marji's photography."

    Tuhin (Away) says:

"Marji is a passionate traveler cum photographer and on top of everything else , she is a great human being , I like her images not only because they look good and represent different cultures ranging from Asia to Europe to USA, but also because they themselves tell stories and they are the true mirrors of the local cultures and daily life. Apart from her pictures from India, I especially like the black and white pics from her native city Paris. If you ever get to know this Lady personally, you gotta say (just like me) that "this lady has way to go". Keep up your good work my dear friend.:)
    Best wishes

    Tuhin"
