Spirit of Boz is the work of Julien Friedler, (a psychoanalyst, a writer and a visual artist from Monaco). The Boz is a fictional, mythical universe mixing together literature (The Book of Boz, an epic metaphysical quest of 3 clowns) and visual works derived from the book (including paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, performances and videos).

Be Boz - Be Art
Julien Friedler's Be Boz-Be Art projects rely on the hypothesis of an unexploited creativity in everyone, aiming to created art works for and by the masses.
The main Be Art project is "Around The Boz In 80 Years". It attempts to capture a bit of the soul of the world through 6 essential questions everyone is invited to answer.
1) DOES GOD EXIST ?

2) HOW DO YOU CHARACTERIZE THIS PERIOD ?
3) HOW DO YOU SEE THE FUTURE ?
4) ARE YOU HAPPY ?
5) IS SEXUALITY IMPORTANT ?
6) WHO AM I ?

The "Around the Boz" questionnaires have already been translated in 8 languages and collected in Belgium, Rwanda, USA, Argentina, China, Uruguay, Chile, Russia, and Israel. Almost 10 000 people have already answered. And you ?
The collected questionnaires will be in term enclosed in columns, which will constitute what Julien Friedler calls a "Forest of Souls". The project has started in 2006, during Brussels' Night of Boz and should end 80 years later, in 2086.
