I'm 60 plus a liitle bit!
I live on the south coast of England.
Passionate about photography for many years.
Love walking, the outdoors, countryside, nature and people and try to combine that with my photography.
Still looking for the perfect picture!

Previously part time professional freelance photographer. Well remember the days of being in the darkroom in my garage till 3.00am printing up magazine submissions and washing the prints using the outside tap (even in mid winter)! Too old for that now - thank goodness for digital! I am now looking towards going back into freelancing and with my son Paul have a new website which is at:

www.yarrowphotography.com

I hope you enjoy browsing through my pictures and if you like what you see, please do leave a comment on the way.

I am happy for you to add me as a contact but I do like to have a two way relationship with my flickr friends so forgive me if I don't add you back if you are looking only. I will only add you back if you comment on my pictures and if you want me to comment on yours. If you add me or fave my pictures but have nothing for me to look at, you will be blocked - there is too much stealing of images going on.

These are some of my recent pictures:

Commended in the Take a View Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition.

    MissSmile says:

"Ok, just ask yourself: Are you crazy about your photography? Are you confident enough not to be smashed by Outstanding talent of the person who dare to tell that his Best Shot is not taken yet? if your answer is "Yes!" - then go ahead and enjoy it immensely, and be ready to look for some new strong English words to express your admiration, but if your answer is "No!" - beware, cause you could be smashed, and won't be able to look through your photostream anymore...
Just Tell Yes and admire TellYazz!!!"

"Quite simply, Tellyazz's photostream is my favourite on flickr. Terry produces extremely high quality photographs, but more than that his photostream has such character it makes it a joy to look through. His photographs observe the subtle, poignant and often humorous moments that everyone else passes by. His landscape photographs are full of drama, spectacular lighting, and wonderfully serene moments. Looking at his photostream gives you in insight into the character of a great person that I'm privileged to know."

    THE BLACK RABBIT says:

""Its not the song - its the SINGER". (Its not the camera you understand that makes the picture, 'tis the photographer).
An over-used cliche as far as photography is concerned?
    Maybe.

There are many photographers out there who don't subscribe to this point of view however - engaging in a constant race to buy and use (often badly) the latest gear, in a rather poor effort to make their imagery more pleasing.
The truth, of course, is that the £3000 lens will make better pictures EASIER to take, but will not take better pictures.

The point of all this wittering?

    Tellyazz.

Tellyazz is one of those very rare photographers who seems to make the difficult skill of photography look ridiculously easy.
A stroll through Tellyazz's photostream will show you exactly what I mean.
One gets the feeling that if ALL Tellyazz had to take photographs was a box brownie, the images produced would STILL be worth seeing.
Its a skill that cannot easily be taught this.
It needs a certain type of someone, with real vision.
Tellyazz obviously has this in abundance - a walk down a bog-standard road seems like an adventure - so many possiblities of images - photo' opportunities that most of us would simply never see, nor appreciate.
I write this testamonial after another (slightly quirky) completely orginal shot appeared on the photostream of Tellyazz.
    A sublime shot.
A Paris bench, in the rain.
    Sounds a bit dull?
    Go see for yourself.
You'll not see another shot like it.

    Thanks Tellyazz.
    You are an inspiration.
Keep up the jaw-dropping photography, and keep making us mere mortals eternally jealous!
