Greetings,

My name is Will and I live in southern California. Photography has been a growing hobby for several years, one that Flickr has helped in many ways. I really appreciate the community and the people that compose it.

I am now primarily shooting on a Canon 7D, though I borrow 30D/50Ds from friends when I need an extra body. For a number of years I learned how to shoot using a Canon S3, pushing it and myself to the limit, experimenting with exposure, DoF, bracketing, macro, HDR. The vast majority of my captures shown here are on superzoom platforms, but this will change over time.

It's been a great journey so far and it looks like it will last a lifetime.

On a side note, I also play around with the waterproof/shockproof cameras like the Canon D10 and the Olympus 1030SW, using it to document snorkeling expeditions I lead during the summer months. It is a great platform for this purpose as it fits in the weight for use i belt pouch and does not require a special housing for use in the water.
