I've loved photography and haven't been without some kind of camera since the age of nine. Photographing landscapes and being in the great outdoors became a passion, but one I used more for my own therapy in the peace and serenity I find in nature. Sometimes it's enough to keep my camera in the bag and nurture my soul while I sit and watch the light dancing across the landscape.

Since joining Flickr my passion has had more purpose and I thank all of my friends and contacts for your support and continued encouragement. It's because of you that I have found more opportunities to get out and enjoy this life with my camera along for the ride. I hope to get together with many of you for more great adventures into this beautiful world.

I'm a single mom, now with two grown boys. Have worked in pro photo labs, typesetting/graphics, and children's educational store. Currently a Special Ed Teacher Assistant working with middle school students with emotional deficits. I also have 2 lab/border collie mix dogs: Merry and Pippin.
