I an a novice at photography, but I do enjoy viewing all the talented photogs and their work, here on this site. I am eager to learn and enjoy taking animal ( I have 2 cats) and nature scenes. I also love sunsets and sunrises.
I work as an RN in a hospital setting. My speciality is neurology. I work full time and do day and overnight shifts. This can get very hectic as sleep sometimes becomes a priority.
In my free time I enjoy participating in multiple sports. Sports are for me a great stress reliever.
Most of pics are of my 2 cats, brothers Jake and Bailey. I've had these orange boys since they were 6 weeks old. They just turned 10 yrs old July/09.
I love them very much. They bring me so many laughs, and are my best buds!
I also like to take nature shots and eventually would like to film some sporting events, locally. Friends playing softball or soccer.
I have 2 simple cameras. One is a Kodak, and the other is an Olympus Stylus. For a quick photo on the go I use my Iphone, but the quality, and options are lacking. My Kodak "just bit the dust"
Once I become a bit more proficient in photography, I will invest in a better camera. Any suggestions?
I'm leaning towards a Canon DSLR (not sure what model) or am thinking about the powershot G10 or G11
I can spend hours (and I sometimes do!) looking at all the talented photographer's work here on flickr.
