Since I purchased a Nikon D40 in 2008 I have taken a keen interest in chronicling the little world around me. I have collections of animal pictures and images of flowers that artists might like to use as subjects for art classes.

I dabble a bit in history but am strictly amateur. I have visited most of the ancient Dominican foundations in Ireland and unearthed all sorts of fascinating information by recourse to local historians, our limited sources and an insider insight into how life might have been in these places.

I have grouped all the Irish photographs by county so, if you intend visiting Ireland you can get a preview of some of the places you might like to seek.

I spent five years in and out of Inishmaan between 2000 and 2005 so there's a lot of stuff

As a friar travel around Europe is easy as we lodge with each other whenever we travel. I have also a lot of items connected with Irish language and history.

I love words and have included the lyrics of songs that I know including a number of google whacks! If you are seeking the words of some obsolete song or poem you might well find them here.

My religious interests will also be quite obvious. Ireland is home to much of the best stained glass in Europe. Our situation in Europe protected a large amount of our art and patrimony from the blitz and bombs of the great wars of the twentieth century. I have shown a special focus on the Harry Clarke and Túr Gloine studios and collections by the artists Richard King, Henry Flanagan and Aengus Buckley.
