I am a Boulder, CO based professional photographer.

Started shooting film and working in the darkroom before I got my drivers license.

Took classes and shot as a hobby with little odd jobs here and there throughout the years.

11 years in insurance & financial services... allowed me to afford the full DSLR leap and pimped out Mac set up in 2004.

Started shooting weddings, product & portraits and calling myself a pro then. I was able to rub two nickels together.

Nikon but not anti Canon. Just what I bought.

Bought studio set up three years ago to turn my living room into a studio. Pros... great space, high ceilings, tons of light. Cons... had to run my family out of the house and re-arrange the furniture every time I needed to shoot.

Now in a studio in Boulder, CO.

Like to play with creative lighting situations.

Not a big gear junkie. (some may argue I guess).

Suck at marketing myself.

Went to Oklahoma State. Worked at Coopers Bicycle Shop. I say that only because it made me really cool in college. Not as cool as my wife though; she worked at Eskimo Joe's.

Like to ride bikes... with or without motor.

Backpack, Hike, Camp, Ski, Snow Shoe, Muay Thai Kickboxing.

Been around but wouldn't say well travelled necessarily.

Favorite places... Yosemite, Colorado, Lake Tahoe

Favorite events... Any of the NORBA National Series Mountain Bike races (raced semi-pro in the 90's), 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Any big time auto or motorcycle race, Burning Man.

Strongly desire to keep photography fun & real & make a comfortable living doing it.

Use to have money but no time to travel. Now have time but no money. Where's the justice?
