Summary of my photostream:
A lot of my photos here are of trains, I have a wide variety of other types of photos as well (especially travel pics), which you can read about below the "my train pics" description...
My train pics include the following:
Existing railroads:
CSXT(CSX), Alaska Railroad(ARR), Norfolk Southern(NS), Respondek Railroad(RRC), Burlington Northern Santa Fe(BNSF), Union Pacific(UP), Kansas City Southern(KCS), Canadian Pacific Railway(CPR), Amtrak(AMTK), Montana Rail Link(MRL), St. Louis Terminal Railroad Association(TRRA), Ferromex(FXE), UP-subsidiary Alton & Southern(ALS), and Canadian National(CN) as well as some private companies' locomotives including CEFX, HLCX, Manufacturer's Railway Company(MRS), Laclede Steel Company(LSCO), and Indiana Railroad(INRD), and Maryland Transit Admninistration(MARC).
I have pics of the following fallen flags (railroads that no longer exist):
Illinois Central(IC), Wabash(WAB), Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific aka Milwaukee Road(MILW), Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe(ATSF), Southern Pacific(SP), Conrail(CR), Erie Lackawanna(EL), Green Bay & Western(GBW), Norfolk & Western(NW), Chicago, Burlington & Quincy(CBQ), Chicago & Illinois Midland(CIM), which was bought by Genesee & Wyoming holding company in 1999 an renamed "Illinois & Midland(IMRR)," and though it still exists today, I consider it a fallen flag because of the new name and new ownership, Sabraine River & Northern(CBN), New York, Chicago & St. Louis aka Nickel Plate Road(NKP), Chesapeake & Ohio(CO), Gainesville Midland(GM), Illinois Terminal Railroad(ITC) or originally known as Illinois Traction Company(ITC), and the Chicago & North Western(CNW) UP #1995 Heritage Unit, Southern Railway(SR) #401 2-8-0 Steam Locomotive.
I have pics of these locomotive models:
SD45s, SD40-2R, GP40-2, GP40-3, AC44CW, ES44AC, C44-9W, C40-8W, C40-9W, C40-9, GP11, SD70MAC, SD70M, SD70M-2, SD60I, SD60M, SD60, and SD70ACe. I also have some pictures of switchers.
My non-railroad related pictures include:
•Sightseeing (such as the Mayan Ruins at Chichen Itza in Mexico, pictures in New Orleans, a road trip I took on the Alaska Highway, driving from Anchorage, Alaska all of the way back home to St. Louis, where I saw glaciers, many trains YAY, amazing landforms, cliffs, mountains, bright blue glacial lakes, and amazingness that you can find only in Alaska and the Canadian Rockies).
•Nature (such as wild animals, landforms, and plants, particularly on the Alaska Highway Road Trip that I took, I can't emphasize those photos enough, PLEASE LOOK AT THEM!!! Thank you. I have railroad pictures, animal pictures (such as bears, moose, elk, bison, antelope, dall sheep, stone sheep, and many others), glacier pictures (glaciers are absolutely amazing. They have an amazing deep blue color, absolutely gorgeous, and it's a blue that you can't see anywhere else besides a glacier, and it's the best shade of blue ever), mountains, prairie, wildflowers, and so much other stuff on that trip alone. Please also look at my New Zealand & Australia Trip Pictures! Thanks! :D
•Planes, Automobiles, buses, and other modes of transit.
•Roller coasters
This pretty much sums up my photostream.
•Weather photos (including pictures of lightning bolts.
•Pictures of my town, Glen Carbon, Illinois, Edwardsville, Glen Carbon's sister city, and areas all over the St. Louis Metro area.
•Any sort of interesting architecture and cityscape will appear in areas in my photostream.
•Also, I take pictures of events and things that happen, as it's always nice to document events that go on around town, around the metro area, and even around the country :)
•I also take some pictures of seasonal change, water towers, landscape, development, sunsets, and the moon.

I've been a Flickr member since August 21, 2008
About me is down below.
I've had nearly 320,000 views, and had 2475 one day!
I don't know how I'm getting that kind of views, since I haven't uploaded anything since April of 2011, and haven't been very active at all on Flickr since quite awhile before that.
This is horrible. Please watch this video about Alaska Governor Sean Parnell's ongoing brutal wolf slaughter. Parnell, the current governor (since Palin's resignation) has continued allowing this sick, horrible, heartbreaking practice. Follow this link to send an email to him saying to stop this brutal killing! There have been about 97,000 messages sent so far, and in order for this to be affective, the Wildlife Campaign thing requires 100,000 messages to be sent to him, so please be sure to be one of the people who sends a message (this is only eligible for US citizens, unfortunately), so anyway, Sean Parnell is not the one who kills the wolves, he just promotes it. He pays people $150 for every single killed wolf paw they bring back to him! :(

About me is down below.

Please be sure to check out all of my sets.

About me:
I'm a big railfan. I love trains, and the history of trains. I also love photographing trains, as well as taking some videos of them as well. No photographer can resist at least one good video.
I love bikeriding, geography, history, politics & economics, geography, trains, photography, and (of course) Flickr! =D
Also, Flickr never makes this link very noticeable on anybody's pictures, so here is a special highly noticable link to my map of where all of my photos were taken.
I was born in Chesterfield, Missouri at St. Luke's Hospital on July 7, 1995
I lived in Chesterfield from age 2 until the year 2000
I lived in Naperville until 2002
I travel a ton.
I've ridden an airplane over 100 times in my life, my dad's an American Airlines pilot, so we get discounts & stuff, but if there are too many paying passengers on the flight and not enough room for us, we don't get to go on the trip.
I've been on 4 cruises.
I've been to Alaska, the United Kingdom & France where I rode the TGV and the Channel Tunnel (or the Chunnel). We rode on a Qantas Airlines Boeing 747 out to Auckland, New Zealand in summer of 2010 where we had a two week vacation all of the way down the entire country (from north to south), as well as spending a couple of days in Sydney, Australia. I've been to a total of 9 countries: The UK, France, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Iceland, Ireland, and of course, the US. :)
I've ridden a train from St. Louis to Chicago in the year 2000, I've been to Mexico and 4 provinces and 1 territory of Canada. I got to go on a 15 day driving trip from Anchorage, Alaska, starting on June 28 when we flew up to Anchorage, and ending July 12 at about 2:00pm, after we helped my grandpa drive his car back to the lower 48 states, as he was moving back to the lower 48 from Alaska. USA all of the way back to St. Louis!!! Wow, what a trip! I got 1000 pictures!
I'm single. I've had my chances with women before, but my shyness always gets the best of me :P I honestly don't care TOO much about that. Dating isn't that big of a priority. When I feel God calling me to the right girl, I will come, but until then, I will wait. I am a 'Jesus Freak' United Methodist Christian. I am crazy about Jesus. He died for our sins and He has saved me and many others. It is amazing.
I love photography; when I went to the UK & France in 2002, I got my first disposable camera, and have had one for each trip I took ever since. On Christmas 2006, I got a new Polaroid; I took it on a cruise, and then it broke in June 2008. I got my new camera in mid July 2008, and have put every picture I ever uploaded onto my computer with that camera onto Flickr, though I have made approximately half of them private since then, with the intention of deleting them. Also, my brother Paul was born in January 18, 2001. We got my dog, Mandy, just before summer break of 2005. She was born in September of 2004. We got my cat, Napoleon, soon after we got Mandy, and he was born in June of 2004. Mandy & Napoleon have a strong bond between each other unlike most that you may have ever seen from a dog and cat. Very unfortunately, our cat, Krista, who was a sweet kitty (so social that she would walk up to complete strangers visiting our house and show them the love as if they were part of her family), was ticked off at all of us because we got Mandy and Napoleon just before summer of 2005 (and we'd had Krista since 2003, and she was born in January of 2003), so she would run outside and not come back for a whole day sometimes, and anyway, on New Year's Eve 2005-06, at about 10:30pm, she ran outside when my dad opened the door to clean the litter box, and she never came back. My friends and I have suspected the worst, and that a coyote got her. She was just shy of turning 3. :(

Here are all the states I've been to (I've been to 30 out of 50, and I've also been to Washington DC, the capitol of the US):

I've been to 4 provinces of Canada and 1 territory, out of 13 (10 provinces and 3 territories):

"Jimbo1 is a young man who shows a great interest on photography and this passion is shown in the continous upgrade of his photostream. I follow him looking at his photos where every body can admire the good technique and the very interesting eye on taking those aspects of the american way of life. As european I learn much more looking at his photos than reading news about his wonderful Country. Every photo is a paper of the american history and I appreciate very much it. I wish him to go on this interest and by time I am sure he will be a great photographeur. My congratulations and my best wishes for his life as student and then as photographeur."

I haven't known him for long, but it's very clear that he has an interest and a commitment to the subject that he's shooting. "Well first off, Jim has some awesome photos on his photostream! If you ever have some spare time, y'all should definitely check his pics out! =) He is a great Flickr friend, who always has something nice to say. If you get the chance to talk to him, you will realize he is really mature for his age. I think that pretty much summarizes him... Gotta go.... Thanks for being a good friend Jim! =)

"Wow, Jimbo! What an impressive account of your past history! I would NEVER have guessed that you were 13! It might be just me, but you do seem to act a lot more mature for your age (or maybe it's just me not acting mature enough for MY age!) :-) Please take that as a compliment.

Thank you also for coming up with the idea of Flickr's biggest group! I don't believe I have become as actively involved with this group as I have been in other groups, and it's great to see other Flickr members joining in and sharing their many other creative talents. Keep up the good work in photography! :-)"
