I am a Fantasy and Comics Artist who has recently been encouraged to break out into photography for various reasons - mostly my daughter!

The more I take, the better I get. I use a decent btu basic digital camera and I never studied it, so I'm not a 'real photographer', but I occasionally get some good ones!

Half of photography is being able to set a scene...the other half is being able to take it. It's that taking it part that I've never done training on, because as an artist, I've already got the idea on how to set a scene or layout etc...(and i'm not saying I'm perfect! just that I've been doing that part for years so I at least have some handle on that)

I started using Flicker (by way of uploading to my cousins site for a short time with her permission) as a way to share with my family, and now I'm sharing a few special items as well such as scrapbooked pages for my scrapbooknig friends and even specialty photos I would like to turn into prints as well as pictures I've taken to use as references or as textures and i just thought they came out really well.
