I am a semi-retired Bricklayer and landscape gardener who runs a small one man band firm ( I work part time in a fishing tackle shop). I am also an ex-coalminer and Trawlerman. I am origanaly from Ebbw Vale in South Wales but have lived in Poole Dorset for most of the last forty Plus years.Besides photography my hobbies are Watercolour painting, Birds and all Wildlife, Fishing and watching both Rugby union and Rugby league.
I am married to Joanna and have one daughter, Hannah Who is married to Andy ( who is a realy good husband and Dad and son -in-law) a grand daughter Katie and a new Grandson called Oliver born 7th August 09, all five are the love of my life. I have been married for nearly 35 years. My Camera gear - Nikon D-200, Nikon D-300 plus film Cameras, Nikon F-80 (2) and a F801. Lenses-nikon 70-200 2.8 VR , 18-70, 18-200 VR, 50mm prime. Sigma lenses, 170-500, 10-20, 105mm macro. Flash, Nikon SB 800, 2 SB 21 macro flashes. manfratto tripod .
Update : October 30 th 2011, My lovely wife has just bought me a new Nikon D 7000 and a Nikon 40 mm macro lens For my 60 th Birthday, ( It cushioned the blow of reaching 60 a bit)
