I paint with an English accent . . . which seems to work well over here in the US. I'm an incurable and quixotic romantic. Born London; Grew up on the Dorset coast; Wasted a perfectly good education; Crewed fishing boats; worked my own fishing boat; sold fabrics on the markets; Owned a gallery, publishing company, rubbed shoulders with royalty and celebs . . . for the last 20 years I've made my living as an artist, and I don't see it stopping anytime soon - it's been a long, bloody hard, hard, apprenticeship. Played harmonica for many years for some top blues outfits, toured N.Europe, USA, some pretty cool stuff actually . . . and here I am, all growed up - and still painting for a living. Three amazing sons, and now at last, married to my one and only.

As for life - I have figured it out - and I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles . . . . (ooh yeah). . . Waiting for everyone else is tedious, so hurry up. I love to be outdoors. Any weather, any reason, or no reason. Walking on the OBX- North Carolina's awesome Outer Banks, or any beach anywhere. Or anywhere, anywhere, actually; fishing, boats, rowing, the water, waves, currents, sand . . . Visiting home in the UK. Exploring. Putting a smile on anyone's face. My wife, my sons.
