Photography is my main hobby. I started out shooting slide film and black & white. Did my own dark room work for a while.
Love my Nikon D40. A great all around DSLR with enough creative controls to keep me sharp and does a good job with program modes when I'm lazy. My body of work includes (in no particular order) nature, architecture, abandoned houses & old buildings, classic cars and general objects of interest. Oh I almost forgot our two photogenic cats.
My main criteria when looking through the finder is if I've seen it before generally don't bother. In other words I try to show things in a new way or to capture things that others might not notice.
