The urban snapper's photostream  

Me:

My name is James I'm a 30something living in Birmingham, England. I'm a mixed bag kind of guy who's fairly normal, down to earth, funny, creative, slightly weird, bit of a geek, passionate and outgoing. I'm frequently told I have the patience of a saint. I spend far too much time tagging and researching my photo's which frustrates me. My partner thinks i'm noisy? not sure what that's about lol. I don't think my photo's show the real me but focus more on things I like or am interested in.

I like the Flickr idea of sharing photo's with other people and showing them something they may never have seen or experienced unless someone posts it on flickr. I sadly have to fit Flickr and photography around work which though I love my job I love my hobbies more. Flickr is a great place to mooch about and learn about other people and see what others are photographing.

I some how went from taking holiday photo's to snapping everything. I happily know very little about the technical side of photography. Point the camera at something that looks interesting or beauiful and press a button thats as technical as I get. I use a flashy Kodax Z980 with a godzilla sized flash which frankly I have no idea what to do with it or how it works - I don't think it's ever come out of the box. It's way scarier than my previous little camera (RIP)

This isn't Facebook so don't add me to build up your numbers. I can't be bothered with hoarding contacts and playing the numbers game so if I add you then I am genuninely intetested in what your photographing.

If you have an empty photostream or nothing available for me to see. (why are you adding me as a contact) Also I'm no prude but there is a difference between photography and blantant porn if you have nothing but porn images on your profile - then bye bye i'm not intrested.
