It's about time I actually update the something worth reading that I wrote once here.

I've always enjoyed photography, but when I got my first SLR a few years ago I began to get more serious. In the beginning, I experimented with all kinds of shots and techniques, but I soon developed an interest, and hopefully a knack, for model photography.

I started very modestly, with very basic equipment, photographing models with no previous experience. I have, luckily, progressed, both in terms of my photo skills and my PhotoSHOP skills. Today

I "only" have a Canon Rebel XT (350D) with a battery grip, two Sigma lenses (17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 and a 50-150mm f/2.8) and 5 Vivitar 285HV flashes. I also have one 50"x50" and one 28"x28" Westcott Apollo softbox, 60" and 45" shoot thru umbrellas, a homemade beauty dish and two Honl grids. A good friend just helped me make 3 battery packs for my VIvitars and man they rock.

The vast majority of my model shoots are taken in my home studio, but I'm starting to feel I need to venture out and shoot "on location". Sooner or later I'll have to add som shots of my studio and my setups . . . (ahhh probably later...)

I almost always work with make-up artists and find that this really makes a big difference in model shots.
