For the most part I'm using this wonderful Flickr site to locate images of various cities. Mostly landmarks and easily recognizable events in specific locations. The company I work for has some clients that do their wall decor in local images and/or flowers/nature photographs; and that is were flickr and maybe your art comes into play! I haven't found a phonebook yet that has a listing like...'great photographer with unique landmark images."
I will of course contact everyone before use of the image to obtain your permission and any other issues that need to be addressed.
