With inspiration drawn from natural and man-made surroundings I create wearable art that celebrates life both as a force of nature and an experience. Discovering permanence and new meaning in typically short lived and forgotten elements of everyday life.
I am full time metalsmith and designer from Eugene, Oregon. I received my initial training in design and metals at the University of Kansas School of Fine Art and have been practicing and refining my skills for the past 10 years.
This is my first year on Etsy as raisedbywolves. For those who are interested in seeing my work in person you can visit me at the Eugene Saturday Market or Blue Moon Jewelry Designs, also in Eugene, Oregon.
My work is primarily done in sterling silver and patinated copper and may incorporate gemstones. In the coming year I plan to expand my offerings to include an 100% recycled gold wedding ring line.
