  Brenda's work caught my eye way back when I first got my camera and discovered 2peas. I think we hit ILP at the same time and she continued to inspire and amaze me with every shot she posted. Her lovely, soft, whimsical colour, the very, very best creamy black and whites and her fun, creative photojournalistic style are so distinctive that I think I'd be able to pick her photographs out of a sea of thousands.
  
  Brenda captures real life, and she captures it so beautifully. She has a knack for taking those real life moments and turning them into timeless art. Her photos of her daughter G. are my favorites, the way Brenda captures her silly, spunky nature makes me feel as if I already know her.
