I am the photographer at an Aquaculture and Marine Life Facility in Wisconsin. I feel very lucky because I have the opportunity to observe and photograph the rarest marine species ever collected. The really tiny things are always the ones that get my attention the most.

I've always liked art, but I wouldn't call my photos artistic. I'm more concerned about documenting species or objects. But I'm still learning.

At home I use a Nikon D60 with the kit lens. Sometimes I throw on my Opteka HD 10x macro diopter, and it gets the job done. After borrowing my boss's 70 - 300mm Nikon zoom lens for shooting birds, I'm looking into getting a comparable Sigma zoom lens.
