My name is Ariston Collander. I was born in Torrance, California in 1980. Although I do not recall my first occurrence of picking up a camera, I do remember going to photography club meetings with my parents when I was a kid. At the time I wasn't too interested but as I got involved with technology and being around the art my mother created, I was bitten by the photographic bug. I officially got involved with digital photography in 2005 with the purchase of a Nikon D50. With the first image I was hooked. I have become a devoted digital photog with a passion for creating images. Whether the subject be people, flowers, rocks, bridges, or anything else, I find beauty in the world around me. I am a photographer who specializes in bringing creative vision and perspective to my photographs. Color or black and white, digital or print, the visual impact is second to none.
