I was once an Advertising/Marketing/Public Relations Executive at a swanky fun Agency in the City.

I have been a forever single girl that lived in the city with a Mid-Century Modern styled apartment, cocktails at night with my girlfriends, Cafe sidewalk breakfast on the weekends, Starbucks, Traveling/trips to London, shopping, working, long hours......you get the picture.

Then when I least expected it - I met my soul-mate and life changed. This City Girl fell in love with a 6' 4; tall blue-eye simple, college football loving, big hearted, hard-working wonderful man and I moved to the 'burbs! Life is calmer now, life makes sense now. I'm a blue jean and flip-flop wearing girl that loves to stay home, cook, play dominos and live life in the 'burbs - yes strip malls and restaurants that have franchise names, something I thought I would never do. I love my new life and I am happy.

I love anything Mid-Century Modern, the 60's and 70's. Think Jackie O, DiScO's Studio 54, and Ali McGraw in Love Story, Original Charlie’s Angels, Avocado Green Appliances, Eames furniture, Frank Lloyd Wright and Mod Palm Springs homes. A wannabe purveyor of mid century style with a deep enthusiasm for all things retro vintage. I have an unhealthy obsession for retro stuff, and am under strict instruction to stop this hoarding. But hang on, you can never have too many places to sit when having a fabulous cocktail party now can you? I enjoy Martinis shaken, Crown and Ginger, Gin and Tonics and a chilly glass of Champagne. I will one day live in my dream Mid Century Modern House - till then, Give me friends, fab food, a suitable beverage and fasten your seatbelts for it could well be a bumpy night.
