If I could do anything in this life, I would travel the world meeting people, taking photos and telling their stories. But I am not fabulously wealthy nor do I have a lucrative stock portfolio. I am just a regular person like you making a living. So the Urban Pilgrim blog is my, and hopefully your, outlet from the mundanity of daily life and a glimpse into the quirky, interesting and beautiful parts of the world.

As I am now based in Stockholm, Sweden, I share both the peculiar and ordinary idiosyncrasies of Swedish life through my American eyes. There are also posts that chronicle my experiences living in Thailand, where I worked as a journalist.
