I am a happily married father of two 50 year old retired Mailman and a former Marine. My residence is in the far north coastal region of California, in the small town of Arcata. I always liked photography but never got involved as much as I would have liked. Do to an illness that forced me to give up another passion of mine, long distance cycling, I took the plunge into the hobby in March 2008. I focus on nature shots but would also like to do some bicycling racing photography as well as more aviation related pic's. I consider myself a beginner but would like to be considered a semi-pro level photographer someday.
I try to keep my contacts list small so that I have time to comment on as many pic's as possible, if I have not responded to a request please send me a message and I will reply.

All the above eqipment was ripped off. As of now I am shooting with an Olympus E-PL1 with a 14-42 f3.5-5.5 lens.
I use Canon DPP-Elements 7- and Photomatix software
Comments and criticisms on my pic's are welcome, as I would like to become a better photographer. Awards are not necessary, though they are appreciated.
