I am a professional outdoor writer, broadcaster, public speaker, book author and web blogger with well over 30 years of experience. (See "About :Larry" profile at www.coastalanglers.com). I am also director of marketing and promotions for I.F. Anderson Farms, producers of the pond-raised Black Salty baitfish. A good bit of my job involves traveling throughout Texas and beyond, field-testing the Black Salty and documenting my angling experiences, partly on the website BlackSalty.com. I write and shoot photos for a variety of magazines, including Texas Sporting Journal, Texas Parks & Wildlife, CCA TIDE, Salt Water Sportsman, Sport Fishing Magazine and others. I work as Gulf Coast Editor for Great American Outdoor Trails Radio Magazine (www.gaot.net) and am Saltwater Advisor for TexasFishingForum.com, the state's most extensive angling-related website and forum. I am a member of the Wrangler Pro Gear Advisory Team, and in 2008 was presented the L.A. Wilke Lifetime Achievement Award by the Texas Outdoor Writers Association. The L.A. Wilke Award is TOWA's highest honor. I live in Clear Lake, Texas, not far from the shores of Upper Galveston Bay, with my wife Liz, a teacher at Pasadena High School.
