Originally born in Ponta Delgada city in the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores - Portugal. I am nationalized Canadian and living in Edmonton in the Province of Alberta for the past 18 years.

My passion for photography started with the introduction of digital and my first digicam, a 2MP HP and then a 4MP Canon G2 but it grew a lot with the launch of the Digital Rebel series from Canon.

Presently I own a Canon 40D and a Canon 5D Mark II and several lenses.

On location Portrait photography and Macro are my preferred subjects but recently I developed an interest in Landscape photography as well.
I try to look at each and every person who comments on my photos and appreciate your interest. I have a Creative Commons license on my photos for Attribution-noncommercial-share alike, some rights are reserved.
