taivasalla is a Finnish word meaning 'under the open sky'.
I'm a self-taught hobby photographer living in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. I've been enthusiastic about taking pictures since I bought my first digital camera back in the year 2000.
My photos in flickr are taken either with my mobile phone camera (Nokia N95), my Nikon Coolpix 8700, or my Nikon D200 SLR. Larger versions of some photos are available in my photoblog Under the Open Sky.
