I am rather old-school with my photography habits; I love my film camera, so making the switch to digital where you don't have to worry about getting the best shot or conserving film is an adjustment for me! I am trying to make a new habit of taking lots of pictures for different purposes!

Photos are a great way to document and share ideas. It's a great way to SHOW what you mean instead of getting stuck while trying to describe it.

I am a new librarian with a Bachelors in Elementary Education who is really excited about starting my MLIS this fall. Presently I work as a Children's Librarian in a smaller library in a rural district, so my background in education comes in handy on a regular basis! But since I love working with people of all ages, I haven't decided which direction to pursue with my degree: I can see myself happily working with YA, Reference, and Technology!

When I'm not working or studying (or taking pictures!), I love working on my comic, getting dirty in the garden, crafting, reading for hours on end, and writing, writing, writing. I live happily with my significant other of 9+ years and our cat.
