Brickapolis is a kind intelligent friend with a fascinating sense of humor. Although I've only spoken to him a few times on these Internets, and Brickfair is rather hazy, Matt is truly a one of a kind person. His creations are all well made and interesting to look at. However the best part, in my opinion, of the creations are the unorthodox color scheme that Matt uses to create a charming and pleasant building.

"Brickapolis is a great AFOL. He makes some interesting MOCs, and always posts picture updates of LEGO sets.
He moderates the group LEGO Set News Worldwide, which is probably my most favorite group as it is frequently updated by its many active members.
He also is a staff member of Brickset. He doesn't post there often, but when he does, it is usually very valuable news about the availability of sets in the United States.
Although the tone in most of his posts seem as if he is annoyed or angry, you will find that he is very kind once you get to know him."24th November, 2009

"Brickapolis is best known for his group "Lego Set News Worldwide". At least for me. But take a walk around his Photostream. You'll find Everything from new Lego stores to MOCs that he's created. Very good ones too. I can't do dioramas(sp?) for beans, but he does it just fine."
